Children Clients for Life
On her way to becoming a master photogra- pher, Dori Arnold, owner of Dori G. Studios in Claremore, achieved her Photographic Craftsman degree and her PPA Certified designation in three short years.
She was only the second female in the Professional Photographers of Oklahoma to receive the latter.
She will be speaking to INPPA members on children’s portrai- ture – one of the main focuses of her business.
According to her website, she notes that making the decision to have a child is momentous.
“It is to decide forever to have your heart go walking outside your body,” Arnold quotes.
For new moms, she says, we have our classic “Watch-Me-Grow” membership program.
In that program, clients receive three free ses- sions (three months, six months and one year), along with an album to display free images from each session and enjoy special “Watch-Me-Grow” prices for members only.
According to here website, she now offers “A Year in the Life” for moms-to-be which includes five sessions (Madonna session, newborn, three months, six months and one year), 22 custom birth announcements and membership in the “Watch- Me-Grow program.”
A native of Wisconsin, she moved to Dallas, Texas when she was eight and to Oklahoma in 1980. She served as INPPA’s president in 1994 and, two years earlier, took the PPO President’s Trophy in the general exhibit for having the highest total print case score.
She also was the INPPA newsletter editor as well as serving in that capacity to the Professional Photographers of the Ozarks.
She has presented programs on the local, state, regional and national level and for three years, opened her home to foreign exchange students from France, Germany and Spain and photo- graphed those student’s senior pictures.
She also taught general photography at Rogers State University. |
